We started operating in 1986 in the city of Lima with a small team of 40 employees. Today, our Peruvian headquarters is one of the most important SGS subsidiaries where all activities from the South American region are centralized and coordinated.

Currently, we are present in 28 cities in Peru, with nearly 2,000 employees, providing a comprehensive range of solutions to virtually every sector and industry, including environment, agriculture, mining, industrial, fishing, business management certification, consumer products, automotive and oil, gas, and chemical projects.

Innovation

We are dedicated to evolving our services to satisfy the needs of the Peruvian market. For example, in the mining sector we developed an information system that provides real-time laboratory results to our clients, and created an innovative approach to fertigation monitoring in the agricultural sector. These groundbreaking services have now been adopted across the entire SGS global network.
